I-BioStat offers short and long term consulting for academic, industrial, and governmental partners, across all of its research areas and beyond. I-BioStat cooperates with partners of both mother universities, the academic hospital Gasthuisberg, and member institutions of both universities’ associations. I-BioStat enjoys a long tradition of scientific collaboration and consulting with Flemish, Belgian, European, and international partners.

Themes include: statistics in preclinical and clinical development, public health, human epidemiology, food safety, veterinary epidemiology, regulatory aspects of clinical trials, independent data monitoring committee membership, statistical bioinformatics and statistical genetics.

I-BioStat’s statistical consultancy strongly interacts with the institute’s scientific research efforts. Similarly, service courses are offered in a variety of topics and for a realm of partners.
